About Citkar
CITKAR is a Berlin-based manufacturer of pedal-assisted transporters (e-cargo bikes) for last mile deliveries: fast, low-cost and emission-free. The award-winning cargo bikes are a striking example of solid German engineering that, after years of hard work, meets the needs of the market. Using proven techniques from both the bicycle and automotive industries, the CITKAR models are designed to withstand the wear and tear of mileage and other challenges of daily heavy use.
With 4 wheels, a covered cabin, a steering wheel, cup and phone holder, an adjustable seat with backrest, light indicators, a large cargo space, etc., the CITKAR looks like a van. But it is an e-bike, accessible to any rider from the age of 16. CITKAR started series production in 2020 in Berlin-Marzahn and is active in 7 countries. With a skilled and ambitious team, a competitive advantage in the market and growing traction with major international companies, the future looks bright.
UPDATE june 2023: Germany's Mubea U-Mobility acquired CITKAR on June 23. At the time of the acquisition, CITKAR was one of the leading solutions for heavy cargo bikes in Europe, with customers like Amazon, DHL, UPS, Ziggo and many SME urban service providers. With this acquisition, Mubea has become the largest European manufacturer of heavy cargo bikes in Europe.
